Wow what a week. Actually a little bit more than a week, because I have been so busy. The weight loss for this “week” is -5.0 lbs.
Yes, the last three weeks have been pretty extreme. However, if this is a trend I will take it….-5.8, +1.8 and then -5.0. Maybe things are beginning to break down and drop off. I know I feel better.
Either way, just like I can’t scorn the scale on weeks it goes up, I can’t worship it on weeks it goes down. It is the process that’s important. I will just keep focused on one day at a time. I am only human and after all a bit of a control freak. It does take its toll on me that the weight loss is not consistent. That is why I am taking every day as a one step on the journey.
Or, as Dr. Ray said, “Focus on the program and not the pounds.”
Check out the ATX 100 PAGE for updates on orientation dates. AND, some of you have said you didn’t need to lose 100 pounds but would like to help by donating. This is not a charity drive or a pledge of dollars per pound. But we have heard from some people who may have difficulty coming up with the $100.00. We are working with the registration site to develop a way for people to donate to the RunTex Foundation (non-profit) and then the Foundation could underwrite some individuals who need partial financial assistance. If you are interested let me know. Thanks to Fred for being the first to ask.
