I guess for the Houston Astros having back to back losses is not much of an accomplishment. However, for me to have two weeks in a row that I lose weight has been a challenge.
Well it happened. -3.0 lbs this week after a -5.0 lb last week.
I really have to remind myself everyday to just focus on today. I spent some time several weeks ago wondering why I couldn’t have a consistent loss. And again, I have to remember to focus on the program…those things I need to do every day to get healthy.
Now all of sudden the weight does seem to be falling off. The last four weeks I have lost 12 lbs or an average of 3 lbs per week. My body is actually starting to change. Total weight loss 40 lbs. 40 lbs really does sound like a meaningful number…40 lbs.
I am trying to get my workouts up to a total of 60 minutes 5 times a week. Two more weeks and I am going for a 5 K walk. Oh, one more thing, I have actually been in a gym 4 times in the last 2 weeks.
