![]() I weighed in yesterday and I gained 2.6 lbs. Not a great number but is was an awesome week. Michele and I went to Cleveland for a long weekend to visit her parents and family. On Sunday Michele’s family and a few friends all got together in Sarah’s new barn and had a clam bake. (Sarah is Michele’s niece) I made all the decisions about what I ate, some were great, some were pretty good…and then there were homemade chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake cupcakes and creamy clam chowder. Those weren’t the good decisions. Sarah told me if I gained weight I couldn’t blame it on Cleveland. And she is right. My health…My choices. I can say I made more good choices then I ever would have made a year ago. I call that progress. In the last 14 days I have been on the road 8 days, spent 5 nights in hotels and enjoyed a great weekend with Michele’s family. But reality is I ate out more than half my meals. And my choices were about the same…half great and half not so good. My net weight gain during that time, plus 1.0 lbs. I am back home 3 days and I am back on track eating right. For now, with a sense of accountability, I am smiling. And yes I gained 2.6 lbs. This is your new blog post. Click here and start typing, or drag in elements from the top bar.

Wow.....8 days eating out and going home to boot....the weight you gained is minimal in that context...would bet good money next week you will have an loss that covers this gain and more...Way to go..Tell Michele hello for me..

P.S. Forgot to mention I love your logo. Also, just read about your problem with the anonymous negative comment. I am sorry that happened. Consider the source and how miserable they must be.

You made great decisions based on the circumstances. Glad you both had a great time together and with family.
